 "Marshall Dillon died on October 26, 2005. He was 26 years old. He
apparently died of heart failure. The day prior to his death he
played in the paddock like a two year old. The next morning he ate
his grain and when he was turned out he walked out into the middle
of the paddock and laid down and without any struggle he was gone.
He will be greatly missed. For the last ten years he has been owned
and loved by Doug Ripley and Terry Smith from Decatur, Alabama. I am
so thankful that his great bloodline has been preserved in his off
spring." -
