Hillbilly's But Lite was bred by Winfred Teal of Manchester, Tennessee. He was purchased by Harry Bosley Ft. Ashby, West Virginia and later sold to Ruthanne Whetstone of Buffalo Mills, Pennsylvania. In 2003, he was purchased by Brad Woodruff, at Aztlan Farms located in Petersburg, Illinois where he stood until his death. Bud was humanly put to rest April 6, 2010 after a brief bout with cancer.
